Open MBA Internships

LinkedIn offers a robust, 12-week, summer internship program for 1st year MBAs interested in calling the California, Bay Area their home. During the 12 week summer at LinkedIn MBA’s will be aligned with a business team that best aligns with their professional focus while also engaging in a number of social events and activities. Within the team MBAs will engage in meaningful work with tangible deliverables and deadlines that make a measurable impact. Each 1st year MBA is assigned a manager and mentor who will provide hands-on guidance and serve as a valuable resource to support their professional growth. The social engagements offer opportunity to connect and network with peers and get to know and learn from executives across LinkedIn.

  • My experience at LinkedIn has been phenomenal. Even as an intern, I’m given the autonomy to fully manage my time, initiate projects that I’m interested in and also contribute in ways that makes real business impact. This has enabled me to not only do the things that I’m passionate about but also experience being part of an efficient and effective team. Apart from the work, an internship at Linkedin has also provided me with opportunities to network with professionals from all over the world and also enjoy fun day-outs contributing to a social cause or just bonding with my fellow colleagues.   • As the Global Mobility Intern, my job this summer was to create seven comprehensive destination guides for LinkedIn employees/candidates relocating to or traveling to various countries worldwide. I’ve gotten the chance to speak with LinkedIn employees from Australia, London, Bangalore, Dublin, Singapore and more. I’ve worked with legal, design/branding, the HR team and more! As an indecisive undergraduate student I’m still not sure what I want to do in the future, but getting exposed to so many different aspects at such an incredible company has truly helped me figure out what direction I want to go in with my career.

  • Going into my internship with LinkedIn I didn’t really know what to expect. I had no idea how much I would learn, grow, and transform.   • A lot of tech companies in Silicon Valley offer similar perks, but the one thing you can't duplicate is the company culture. LinkedIn's cultural values have been emphasized from the moment I stepped on campus at Mountain View. Whether I'm chatting with a co-worker over lunch or attending a speaker series with our CEO, Jeff Weiner, the values are brought up time and time again. I've learned a lot over the course of my internship, but what I'll take away from this summer to the rest of my career is that true company culture goes beyond buzzwords.

  • I had the incredible fortune of spending my summer with the APAC BizOps team. Over the 2 month period, I was given the opportunity to analyze the APAC business, help identify and tackle challenges facing the different units, and to engage directly with the APAC business leaders. Through the internship, I built on my prior experience as a strategy consultant to develop tangible solutions that I could see making an impact to the business. Further, I was amazed by how much effort the leadership puts into creating a culture that is not just fun, but also truly collaborative, and supportive. During those two months, I completely forgot that I was an intern!
